This cupcake card was really hard to photograph with all its textures, depth and shimmer. I created it for this week's Color Challenge on Create with Connie & Julie. The Color Combo is Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink and Real Red.

I used the Simple Birthday Thanks stamp to do some paper piecing. I stamped it once on Chocolate Chip card stock in Chocolate Chip ink (omitting the words), once on Pretty in Pink card stock in Pretty in Pink ink and once on Real Red card stock in Real Red ink for a tone-on-tone effect. Then I used the Paper Snips to cut out the pieces that I needed.
To add lots of dimension and shimmer, I ran the Chocolate Chip cupcake wrapper through the Crimper, sprayed Frost White Shimmer Paint Mist (mix a little paint with some rubbing alcohol in a mist bottle) on the Pretty in Pink frosting and covered the Real Red cherry with Crystal Effects.
This next photo shows a little bit more detail.

I used the Big Shot and the Perfect Polka Dots Impressions Folder from the Occasions Mini Catalog on the Real Red background. The Real Red sprinkles were made with the Crop-a-Dile and attached with 2-way glue.
The greeting is a Chit-Chat Rub On. I cut it straight across on the top and bottom and then used the Scallop Oval punch to create the fancy side edges.
I'm telling ya, this cupcake looks good enough to eat! If you would like to order the supplies to make this card, please visit my Online Store.
