I started making this book last Saturday using this week's Color Challenge for Create with Connie and Julie: Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive. Then I realized that to enter the challenge I have to post pictures BEFORE I give the book to my hubby for Valentine's Day.
So, I waited until the last minute to post and just in case he sees this... which thanks to Facebook he probably will and you can become a Facebook Fan too... it is not the finished product. I plan to do some hand written notes and perhaps a photo or two to personalize it.

These are the gift boxes that my girls and I made for all the teachers for Christmas.

I shared this flower pot card in a previous post, but I wanted to show you how I packaged them up to make a gift set to give to my grandma for her birthday.
I put 5 flower pot cards and 5 envelopes in a clear card box and simply wrapped a strip of textured Chocolate Chip card stock around the box to create a belly band. I also discovered that the greetings from the Sincere Salutations stamp set fit perfectly in the Wide Oval Punch.

Stampin' Up!'s Designer Series Papers make it so easy to make beautiful gifts. I quickly decorated a $1 wood frame from a craft store with designer series paper to make this frame as a birthday gift for my cousin.
All you need to do is cut your paper to a little bit larger than the frame. Completely cover the front of the frame with glue stick, add the paper and smooth with your hands. After it has dried, use a hobby blade to cut the extra paper from the middle of the frame. Use a sanding block to remove the extra paper from around the inside and outside edges of the frame and create smooth edges. So easy!
