Do you have stacks and stacks of 12×12 patterned papers?
Here is a QUICK way to cut them up and make them into stacks of cards ready to give away as gifts, donate to a good cause or send to your friends and family!
Watch this video for tips on how to quickly cut each piece of your 12×12 patterned papers into 3″ x 4″ pieces so that you can make TWELVE cards out of each piece!
It’s easy and there are SO MANY different things you can do with those 3″ x 4″ pieces.
I like to keep a stack of them handy so I can just grab one when I have time to make a card.
Here are a few cards my daughter Rachel made yesterday with 3″x 4″ patterned paper pieces…
Colors: Bermuda Bay & Lemon Lime Twist
Colors: Cherry Cobbler & Dapper Denim
Tip: Cut a 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ card stock mat to layer behind your 3″ x 4″ patterned paper piece.
Colors: Emerald Envy & Night of Navy
Tip: Cut your card base 4-1/4″ x 11″ OR use a hobby blade to cut a slit in the fold of your card base to wrap ribbon around your card like Rachel did above.
Colors: Basic Black & Pink Pirouette
Tip: Use washi tape to add even more patterns or colors to your card!
And here a couple cards that I made with 3″ x 4″ patterned paper pieces this morning…
Colors: Tranquil Tide, Soft Sky, Berry Burst & Lemon Lime Twist
Colors: Basic Black & Pink Pirouette
Tip: Don’t have the color ribbon that you need? Here’s how to make white ribbon any color you want: www.inkitupwithjessica.com/how-to-color-with-sponge-daubers

Oh I’m so glad Becky! Thank you for telling us. 🙂
That is such a good idea to have a stack of the 3 X 4 pieces already cut! It will make it so much quicker to make cards, especially if you have a lot to do. I wish I had seen this before I had to make about 25 thank you cards, LOL! It wasn’t too bad though because I just used an old card kit I had. Thanks for the great tip!
Beautiful cards, this is such a great tip!!
So eager to start your Info very helpful, thank you
