A dear friend had a baby girl recently, giving me the perfect reason to play with the (now retired) Something for Baby bundle (stamp set + coordinating framelits)! Here’s the baby girl card that I came up with, along with a matching envelope…
Need a baby boy card instead? Just swap the pinks for blues!
Paper Sizes
Whisper White: 3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″
Rose Red: 3-3/4″ x 5″
Pink Pirouette card: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″
Tips for Making this Card: (It’s all about having the right tools!)
- The Stamp-a-ma-jig is SO helpful for lining your stamps up straight and stamping them right in the place where you want them.
- Stamps with a coordinating die are heaven, but they are so much easier to use when you have a Magnetic Platform. It helps the die snap right into place over your stamped image and keeps them in place as you run it through your machine to cut.
- Sure you can stamp the onesie right onto the card, but cutting it out and popping it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals takes it up a notch and adds that “WOW, you made this?” factor.
- Don’t forget to stamp your envelope too!
Happy Stamping!

Cute CAS card! My type. No babies in my life – for a while, at least! 🙂
Went through the old catalog and cut out pics of cards I’ll try and the items I have as well as a coiuple of clever tricks they had on display. Just redid my Spellbinders – put all the labels into one ArtBin magnetic case along with 3 different sets of card-making dies for layering pieces.
My goal is now to take a stamp set off the shelf and USE IT and keep going to get them all used in some way or other. Also to open one of my 4 ArtBins and take out a set of dies and use them also.
Just need TIME! Days come and go in a flash, it seems.
