Before I share the Happy Birthday card I made, I first want to tell you that this is my new favorite color combo:
With Whisper White. For some reason it reminds me of the beach. Maybe the Pool Party is the water, the Tip Top Taupe is the sand and the Watermelon Wonder is a bright beach towel. It’s truly a combo that makes me happy.
Second, I wanted to share that this is my new favorite stamp set:
It’s the Tin of Cards stamp set and although it coordinates with the Tin of Cards Project Kit it is fabulous all on it’s own. Which is good because that project kit has been so popular that it’s backordered well into August! It’s okay, you don’t need it yet. Just get the stamp set. The script on the larger greeting stamps is so pretty, yet the smaller words can be used as greetings too.
Would it be wrong to give this card to myself for my birthday? I just love it!
It’s a really easy card to put together. The card itself opens at the top so that you can wrap the ribbon all around the card front. You’ll find the paper cutting sizes and a supply list below, but I bet you could use this layout to make a card with supplies you already have on hand. Go ahead, give it a try!
That’s it for today, but I’ve got more cards coming with this color combo and stamp set. You’re going to love them!
Paper Sizes for this card:
Tip Top Taupe card base: 4-1/4″ x 11″
Polka Dot paper: 3″ x 3″
Watermelon Wonder: 3-1/4″ x 3-1/4″
