I’ve mentioned recently that I’m a fan of note cards. Those little pint size cards have just the right amount of room to create on and write in. But sometimes you want a regular size card. Today I want to show you how you can take a similar layout and shrink it down or blow it up to make the size of card that you prefer.

These thinking of you cards were both made with the Fruit Stand paper from Stampin’ Up! The card on the left is “regular” size and the card on the right is a note card. Sweet, right?!? And not just because those peaches look good enough to eat.

Peach Paper: 3-1/2″ x 5″
Watermelon Wonder: 3-5/8″ x 5-1/8″
Peekaboo Peach card base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″
Circle Size: 1-3/4″

Both the card & the note card start with the same size Peach paper. For the full size card I matted it on Watermelon Wonder and mounted it to the left of the Peekaboo Peach card front. I like to mix and match my circle punches with my Layering Circle Dies for even more options so the greeting was punched out with the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch and then layered on a scallop circle. The greeting circle is popped up with dimensionals and for the final touch: a sweet little enamel heart. I love those little enamel shapes!!

Peach Paper: 3-1/2″ x 5″
Peekaboo Peach: 1/2″ x 2-1/2″
White Note Card
Circle Size:1-5/8″

For the note card, the Peach paper covers the entire card front. To add a little of the Peekaboo Peach color I banner cut the end of a small strip of card stock and put it behind the greeting circle. You’ll notice the circle I used on the note card is a tiny bit smaller than the one I used on the full size card. Once again the final touch is that cute little enamel heart!

So I hope that you enjoyed seeing what you could do with both a full size card and a note card. The possibilities are always endless!!
