It’s My Birthday & You’re Invited to the Party!

It’s my birthday today and although you should never ask a lady how old she is, I will tell you that I was born in 1975. You do the math.

In real life I’m not a big fan of birthday parties for me, but since birthdays are the perfect excuse to create fabulous things I thought we’d have a little online birthday party that goes all weekend!

Handmade Birthday Party Ideas

What should we include? Games, prizes, good food and fun beverages?

Or maybe just some fun stamping ideas and yeah, let’s go with prizes.

The fun birthday ideas shown above come straight out of the Stampin’ Up! catalog. (page 76) That thing is FULL of inspiring ideas. If you haven’t looked at it yet you can take a peek here.

With many of the same supplies you can make birthday cards, wrap gifts and make fun treat bags too!

Aren’t those little mini gift bows adorable?!?

Let’s get this party started with a Birthday Special.

You’re going to need some supplies to make birthday cards and pretty birthday wrappings.

Plus you’ll get EXTRA GOODIES when you place a $50+ order (before tax & shipping) on my Stampin’ Up! website from July 21 – July 24. Please enter host code: BJV9EACF when you place your order.

Really had to search for a place to reply!
For my birthday I would like my family together including our son that passed almost 6 years ago! That would be perfect!!
    Happy birthday to you!!

Happy Birthday! I hope you had a great day. For my next birthday I would love a day at the spa, go out to eat and open gifts of stamps and supplies. That sounds like a great day. Thank you for the chance to win a prize.

I’m just catching up on this week’s post on my day off. It’s too hot to be outside, so it’s a perfect excuse. I’m a day late for your birthday, so I hope it was a happy occasion. My friends and I have trouble coordinating schedules, so we often get together for a girls’ day a month or two after one of our birthdays. It’s really the only way I care to celebrate. There’s a no gift policy (we’re all trying to get rid of things, not accumulate more) and none of us need cake and ice cream and a bunch of partying.

    Happy Birthday Jessica!!!!
For my next birthday I would love to travel to Hawaii!!! It has been on my bucket list for awhile now. It looks like a beautiful place. Hope some of my friends can join me! I really love to make birthday cards and the stamps have really made it easy to make awesome cards. I have the birthday adventures stamp set and thinlets that went with it and made some great cards. I don’t have that happy birthday gorgeous stamp set yet. It is on my list. I also need the balloon punch as well. I will be ordering from you soon. I’m the girl from Kansas that saw you on u-tube and buys from you. I like your one sheet wonder ideas and the way you explain in your projects. Hope you had a wonderful birthday and a great time in Thailand.

Happy belated birthday, Jessica! I’m pretty simple when it comes to celebrating my birthday. I like to have a nice dinner out with my family.

  • Mary Jo Keffer says:

Happy Belated Birthday, Jessica! Hope you had a great day. I had a July birthday also. It was great. I spent the afternoon playing golf with my husband, children, and their spouses. Then we all went back to my daughter’s home for dinner with the grandchildren. It was special! Next year I will be 74, and if I haven’t been zip lining by then, I’m putting that on my wish list! Have a great birthday weekend!

  • Rachel Brooks says:

To have all 3 sons together at one time for a visit would be wonderful, but doubtful.

  • Diana Craig says:

Happy birthday month, Jessica! I hope you’re still celebrating all your blessings! I’ll start my birthday weekend in March by getting together with husband’s side of the family celebrating the 40th bday of two nephews in Santa Barbara, CA on St. Patrick’s Day. Hopefully, our eldest son can join us but college midterms usually happen then so we’ll see. The other two are also in college but farther away. I get to start my actual bday with church in the morning. Perhaps, I can celebrate with some of my church family friends for lunch. That would be a delight! Then, with my husband for the rest of the day for a BBQ.

  • Paula Richards says:

Happy birthday! 🙂 For my next birthday I would love to have all my brothers and sisters attend. Along with any cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grandchildren. It’s been way too long since we were all together! 🙂

  • Carolyn Whitacre says:

My birthday isn’t until Sept 25th. I don’t do much on my birthday but I like to send out cards to order people on there birthday just to make it a special day for them.
