My favorite new birthday stamp is from the Blow Out the Candles stamp set from Stampin’ Up!
That bold outlined “Happy Birthday” is the BEST!!
I’ve also found myself using the balloons and the background twinkle stars from that set quite a bit as well.
Let’s take a closer look at these 2 colorful birthday cards I’ve made with this fun stamp set…
For this one I stamped the twinkling stars multiple times across the background with VersaMark ink.
VersaMark ink is like *MAGIC* because it’s a watermark ink that looks the same color as whatever color card stock you stamp it on. So it’s PERFECT for stamping across color block backgrounds like this.
For the second card I stamped balloons in the background, again with VersaMark ink.
But let’s talk about that MARVELOUS Happy Birthday stamp.
It looks great stamped in one color, but stamped in multiple colors it’s amazing!
Watch all the way to the end of this video where I show you how to get the 2 colors on the Happy Birthday stamp… It’s easy!
After watching the video I hope you’ll give the Rainbow Color Block Background technique a try AND find a bold stamp that you can practice stamping in multiple colors.
