If you’re just getting started in card making, you may be confused by the vast options of card making supplies available. There are so many stamps and inks and papers and tools and embellishments.

Where do you even begin?

I always suggest you start with a kit. A pre-selected collection of the stamps, ink, paper, and embellishments that you need to make a few cards.

Once you’ve made the cards in the kit, you’ll have a little more experience in card making and you’ll have the stamps and ink and maybe a few other leftovers to use with additional supplies that you can purchase bit by bit.

You can choose an all-inclusive kit that includes EVERYTHING you need to make the cards, or you can choose a kit that requires a few extra supplies.

Shop for all-inclusive kits here.

My favorite card kit from Stampin’ Up! right now is the You Are Amazing Project Kit.

This project kit is NOT all-inclusive which means you would need to purchase the stamps, ink and adhesive separately, but don’t worry because I’ve got you covered and will make it EASY for you! At the bottom of this post, I have a full list of supplies that I would suggest you purchase to get started making cards.
