The weather here in Wisconsin is frigid and another snow storm is on it’s way. Frankly I’m done with it and luckily I have stamps and inks to transport me to a far away land. I pulled out my Secret Garden stamp set and my bright ink pads to create this cheery thank you card that reminds me of the islands of Hawaii. Since I can’t be there, this is the next best thing! Happy Valentine’s Day! Don’t forget to send Valentine thank you cards to people that give you a gift today! Here are a couple ideas to get you started. Tips for making these cards: Use a Heart Framelit die to cut a heart out of the center of a piece of card stock.  Add pretty paper to the back so that it shows through the heart. Shimmer and Shine Glitter Card

It’s day 9 of the Clean & Simple Card Making 2 class and I was immediately drawn to the cards that had a watercolor/glitter look. So pretty! Here’s my take on it… This card was so fun to make!  I started by scribbling a watercolor crayon at the top of a piece of watercolor paper, making it as dark as I possibly could.  Then I used an AquaPainter to create the watercolor effect and pull the color down the piece of paper.  Pulled out my new heat tool for the first time and used the lower heat setting to dry…
