Does it surprise you that you can make birthday cards with the Birthday Bloom stamp set? I would think not. Here are two quick and easy (yet beautiful!!) monochromatic birthday cards… Paper Sizes: Watermelon Wonder card base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Whisper White: 2″ x 5-1/2″ Monochromatic means that you use one color. One of the things that drew me to Stampin’ Up! supplies was that they have ink, card stock and accessories in colors that coordinate. Makes it super easy to match things up! One of my favorite colors to use right now is Watermelon Wonder. It’s just so pretty!! Paper…

One of my goals for the year is to send more cards “just because”. I think we could all use a little encouragement now and then! Nothing quite brightens your day like a handmade greeting card in your mailbox. Wouldn’t you just love to receive this Birthday Blooms card? Paper Sizes: Whisper White: 3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″ Watermelon Wonder: 3-3/8″ x 4-5/8″ Pool Party card base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ I started this card by stamping a full sheet of 8-1/2″ x 11″ Whisper White card stock with the large flower from the Birthday Blooms stamp set. I’m in love with my Stamp-a-ma-jig, so…

You can start with a piece of patterned paper OR you can stamp your own. That’s my favorite thing to do. I have so many stamps that I might as well use them for as many things as I can! Another great thing is that you can make your one sheet wonder cards as simple or as fancy as you’d like! For the above…

Forget Black Friday, we had Craft Friday!

By | Cards, Christmas, Getting Started, Kids, One Sheet Wonder Cards | One Comment

Yesterday instead of Black Friday shopping, we declared it “Craft Friday” at our house. We had fun making Christmas cards and a few other top secret projects. The most fun for me was when my younger daughter and her friend were going to make Christmas cards and my daughter asked if they could make One Sheet Wonder cards. My older daughter has been making tons of One Sheet Wonder cards, so it was nice to see that the younger one has been paying attention. 🙂 I said yes, of course! Once I set them up with their own stamping stations…
