The other day, after watching my Holiday Catalog Video, someone said: “You made prioritizing my list even more difficult, Jessica!!”

You’re welcome. Just kidding! I know, there are so many great crafting supplies that it’s hard to choose!

Here are a few questions I ask myself before I buy new supplies:

  • What exactly will I use this to make first?
  • How many different ways can I use this?
  • Do I already have something similar?

These questions help me narrow down my MUST HAVES!!

Two very versatile punches are the Daisy Punch and the Medium Daisy PunchWhen you hear “daisy”, you might think spring or summer, but you can even use the daisy punches to make Christmas cards!

Garden Green card base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
Garden Green: 4″ x 5-1/4″
Striped Paper: 2″ x 4″
Very Vanilla: 1/2″ x 2-3/4″

So it might not look exactly like a poinsettia, but when you layer the two different sizes of daisies together and add a gold or yellow center, it certainly looks like a Christmas flower.

Stampin’ Dimensionals behind the flower really makes it POP!

If you want to make the card a little more mailable, you could replace the gold gem with something flatter like a circle of card stock.

For the background, I stamped the leaves and berries in Garden Green and then sponged a little Garden Green ink over top.

I hope my questions above help you decide which new crafting supplies are must-haves for you.

Happy Stamping!
