Do you love to color?
I’m not a huge fan of coloring as I usually don’t have the time or patience, but occasionally I do like to color in a stamped image when I’m making a card.
My favorite way to color is with a blender pen and some ink pads.
Soft Seafoam card base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
Soft Seafoam: 4″ x 5-1/4″
Pink patterned paper: 2″ x 4″
Circle size: 3″
Why Blender Pens? They have a fine point that’s perfect for detailed images and controlled wetness that won’t make a mess.
They are great for beginners but loved by all levels of card makers!
Tips for Easy Coloring with Blender Pens
- Stamp your image in a permanent black ink like Jet Black StazOn. It won’t smear when you color with blender pens.
- While your ink pad is closed, gently squeeze the cover. It will touch down on the ink pad inside and some ink will “pool” in the cover of your ink pad so you can pick it up with your blender pen.
- Wipe your blender pen on scratch paper between colors. Blender pens come 3 to a pack but you can use ONE of them for ALL the colors! Just gently wipe it off between colors to clean it.
Now go grab a blender pen, make a quick card and send it off to a friend!
