While the holidays can be the most wonderful time of the year they can also be the loneliest, most depressing time of the year for many people.
So it’s the perfect time to send out some nice cheerful thinking of you cards!
Rich Razzleberry card base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
Whisper White: 4″ x 5-1/4″
Floral Paper: 3″ x 4″
Rich Razzleberry: 1/2″ x 4″
This card all starts with a piece of pretty floral paper from Stampin’ Up!’s Share What You Love pack. One thing I love about Stampin’ Up!’s pretty papers is that they tell you EXACTLY what colors coordinate with them.
That’s so helpful for someone color challenged like me!
I chose to go with Rich Razzleberry and used that both for my card stock and ink.
Watch the video above for tips on making this card. Be sure to watch to the end to see what I did on the inside of the card!
I recommend stamping your greeting first. That way if you stamp it crooked or smear it you haven’t ruined your card. You can just flip it over and try again!
The strip of Rich Razzleberry is a great way to use all those solid color paper scraps you’ve been keeping!
Of course you can also step this card up by adding ribbon or rhinestones or any of your other favorite embellishments.
But the most important part is that you MAKE a thinking of you card and send it to a friend you’ve been thinking of.
