There’s nothing better than getting an unexpected handmade card in your mailbox, so here’s a lovely card to make and send to a friend “just because”.
Blue Floral Patterned Paper: 2-3/4″ x 3-3/4″
Misty Moonlight: 3″ x 4″
Green Patterned Paper: 4″ x 5-1/4″
Misty Moonlight card base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
White insert: 4″ x 5-1/4″
I think this card is pretty self-explanatory once you have the paper measurements above, but here are a few extra tips:
- Use a small strip of card stock in place of the ribbon, if you’d like.
- Use any punch or die shape you have on hand for the greeting. It’s easiest for me to stamp first and then center my punch or die around my stamped image to cut out.
Here’s a card I made a couple of years ago with the same layout:
See how I added a small strip of card stock instead of ribbon? It’s a great way to use up your little paper scraps!
Now go make a card with this layout using any pretty papers you have then send it to a friend.
