There’s nothing better than getting an unexpected handmade card in your mailbox, so here’s a lovely card to make and send to a friend “just because”.
Pumpkin Paper: 2-3/4″ x 3-3/4″
Pretty Peacock: 3″ x 4″
Pretty Peacock strip: 1/4″ x 2-3/4″
Checkered Paper: 4″ x 5-1/4″
Pretty as a Peacock card base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
Whisper White insert: 4″ x 5-1/4″
I think this card is pretty self-explanatory once you have the paper measurements above, but here are a few extra tips:
- You could replace that little strip of Pretty Peacock card stock with a pretty ribbon but it really is a great way to use up little paper scraps.
- I used the Story Label punch for the greeting but you could use any punch or die shape you have on hand. It’s easiest for me to stamp first and then center my punch or die around my stamped image to cut out.
Now go make a card with this layout using any pretty papers you have then send it to a friend.
