Stampin’ Up! has some new online exclusives available and I am absolutely in LOVE with the new Flowering Zinnias paper and the Sweetly Scripted stamp set. I paired them together to make these two cards that you could recreate with ANY patterned papers that you have.

Blackberry Bliss card base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
Basic White: 4″ x 5-1/4″
Floral paper: 4″ x 4″
Blackberry Bliss: 1/4″ x 4″

Berry Burst card base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
Floral paper: 3″ x 5″
Basic White: 3-3/4″ x 5″
Blackberry Bliss: 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″

Both cards use the same supplies, just a little differently!

Flowering Zinnias Card Making Tips:

  • Position your patterned paper on your white card stock (but don’t tape it down yet) to determine where you want to stamp your greeting.
  • Stamp your greeting first, then adhere your patterned paper. That way if you make a stamping mistake you can fix it by flipping the card stock around or using another piece and you won’t have to waste a piece of patterned paper.
  • 4″ x 4″ pieces of patterned paper are great because you can get 9 of them from ONE 12″ x 12″ piece of designer series paper. (first card)
  • 3″ x 5″ pieces of patterned paper are nice because you can get 8 of them from ONE 12″ x 12″ piece of designer series paper. (second card)

Grab a few supplies that you have on hand, make a card, and send it to a friend. You’ll make their day!!

Happy Stamping!
Jessica
