This Gradient Stamping Technique is a fun way to add multiple colors to your cards. I especially like to use this technique with my bold word stamps like this…

Watch the video for tips on how to create this fun look using the gradient stamping technique!

Oh and in case you’re wondering, I did NOT use any kind of stamp positioning tool to make this card. Watch the video for an easy way to line up your images using a simple piece of paper.

Here’s a closer look at the card in the video…

 Whisper White: 3-3/4″ x 5″
Pacific Point: 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″
Bermuda Bay card base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″

Tips for the Gradient Stamping Technique:

  • Use a BOLD stamp image
  • Don’t be afraid to play around with different color combinations!
  • Start with the lightest color then move to the darker colors.

It’s that easy!!

Go ahead, grab a stamp and give it a try. I can’t wait to see what you make with this technique.

Happy Stamping!

P.S. In the video I mentioned that the “celebrate” stamp came in my February 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit from Stampin’ Up! If you’re interested in learning more about these fun monthly craft kits, you can learn more and subscribe here:
