What do you do on the inside of handmade cards? That’s a question I get asked frequently and for me, the answer is easy.
If my card base color is dark and writing would be hard to read on it, I add a white insert.
Here’s How to Cut Paper for Inside Cards…
In this quick episode of Ink It Up with Jessica TV I’ll show you how to use a paper cutter to cut paper for the inside of your cards, especially when you’re using dark paper as your card base, as well as give you a few ideas on how you can decorate the insides.
Note that the finished size of my cards is almost always 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. That size fits perfectly in a Medium size envelope from Stampin’ Up! and you can make 2 cards from one 8-1/2″ x 11″ sheet of card stock.
I hope that helps you with the inside of your cards!
P.S. If you’re a pretty paper hoarder, let me help you cut those pretty sheets up and make them into pretty cards that you can send to your friends. Join the One Sheet Wonder Club at www.onesheetwonderclub.com to get started!
