I love a card that can be made in multiple colors and this Celebrate card is a quick and easy one!

In this video, I’m going to show you how quick and easy it can be to make the same birthday card in multiple colors at once. Or any card for that matter!

The Circle Sayings Bundle that I used to make these cards is so versatile!

I got to help design this stamp set and I really wanted to make sure it was easy to use and had stamps that could be mixed and matched to create cards for a variety of occasions.

It comes in a bundle with a coordinating 2-3/8” Circle Punch that’s perfect for punching out the main image for your cards.

Basic White THICK card stock for card base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
Polka Dot Paper: 4″ x 5-1/4″
Azure Afternoon: 1” x 4-1/4”

Circle Sayings Stamping Tips:

The “celebrate” and the cupcake are two different stamps but you can combine them together on one clear block to save time since they are going to be stamped in the same color of ink.

First, lay the “celebrate” circle down flat and use your block to pick it up. This will keep it an actual circle.

Then add the cupcake inside.

TIP: It’s okay to cut up your stamps!

I had to clip a few extra corners off my cupcake stamp to get it to fit inside my circle. Just be careful not to cut the actual stamp and make a straight up-and-down cut so you’re not undercutting the image of the stamp.

Once you’ve got your stamps set up, you can ink up your stamp and stamp it on white card stock.

Paper Saving Tip:

Cut your 8-1/2” x 11” card stock into 2-3/4” x 11″ strips and you can get twelve 2-3/8” Circles from one sheet!

Card Making Tips:

  • Stamp your image, then flip your punch upside down to center the circle around your stamped image.
  • Color the cupcake liner with a blender pen and ink from the lid of your ink pad (squeeze it together first). I made all of my cards monochromatic (one color) but you can switch up the color of your cupcake liner if you want to add more color to your cards.
  • Add a little Wink of Stella to your frosting to make it shimmer and shine! If you want to add colored frosting, you can even use your Wink of Stella brush to pick up ink from an ink pad before you add it to your cupcake.

Order the Circle Sayings Bundle here if you don’t have it already and get started making fun cards like these to send to your friends and family!

Happy Stamping!
