Ever wonder how to reink an ink pad? Or even how to know WHEN it’s time to reink?
In this episode of Ink It Up with Jessica I’ll share
- How to know when it’s time to add more ink to your ink pads
- How to re-ink 3 different kinds of ink pads: foam pads like Stampin’ Up!’s Classic Pads, felt pads like Stampin’ Up!’s Archival Pads and older pads, plus the VersaMark Pad.
- What to do if you add too much ink
Tip: Always buy an ink refill when you buy a new ink pad. It will last longer & you’ll have it on hand even when the color retires and refills are no longer available.
I hope that this video helped you to know WHEN and HOW to reink your ink pads so that you’ll get great stamped images!
If you have any questions that I can answer in future videos please leave a comment and let me know.
Happy Stamping!
Jessica

Is it o.k. to use a Stampin’ Up Archival Basic Gray ink refill on a Stampin’ Up Classic Basic Gray ink pad?
This reminds me of those questions in HGTV magazine “How bad is it?” They are different types of ink so I’m not sure how they would react to each other. Since you can’t purchase a classic Basic Gray refill anymore I would say that it wouldn’t hurt to try if your pad is dry anyway!
Thank you for the re-inking tips!
