Lest you think I’m working while cruising, I wanted to assure you that I’m writing this before I leave for our Mediterranean Cruise. While on the cruise I plan to sit back, relax and enjoy some time alone with my hubby. That’s right, no kids allowed on this trip!

All Stampin’ Up! events include swapping, even the annual incentive trip! So while I’m cruising I’m also gathering more ideas to share with you when I get home. The idea behind a swap is that you come up with one idea, make a certain number of the same card (in this case 25) and get the same amount of different cards made by other stampers in return. It’s a great way to get new ideas!

So this is the card that I made for the Mediterranean Cruise Swap…

Paper Sizes:
Whisper White card base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
Hearts Paper: 3″x4″
Melon Mambo: 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″
Whisper White strip: 3/4″ x 3-1/2″

To get the most out of my new Pop of Pink Designer Series Paper, I used this Quick One Sheet Wonder template to cut it up. These cards went together very quickly, which was good because I had a lot to get done before I left!

I also used a few other brand new products from the new 2016-2017 Stampin’ Up! catalog… the Scenic Sayings stamp set (on page 103) that I won as a prize at the Stampin’ Up! OnStage event and the Sweet & Sassy Framelits (on page 193). If you don’t have the new catalog yet, request one now and I’ll put it in the mail when I get home from the cruise next week.

Ok that’s it for today! If you have time to make a card, try one in this layout. Super easy and so many possibilities!

Oh wait, one more thing. If you want to get the new Pop of Pink paper NOW, along with some other goodies from the new catalog, you can pick them in your starter kit!! Get the details here.

Now since it’s Monday that means we have a day at sea. I think I’ll go try out that big water slide. Happy Stamping!
