I gave up on scrapbooking years ago. True story. While I love to look through my albums of past trips, the massive amount of day to day pictures was overwhelming. Thankfully my oldest daughter has continued the tradition of scrabpooking our vacations so we’ll have memories of Thailand to look back on.

What I love about the new Memories & More from Stampin’ Up! is that it’s not just for scrapbooking. The coordinating packs of cards make it easy to put projects together quickly and are perfect for not only memory keeping but also for making cards or whatever other projects you can dream up!

So here’s my “More” from the Petal Garden Memories & More Card Pack

Petal Garden Memories & More Card

Calypso Coral card base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
Calypso Coral embossed: 4″ x 5-1/4″
Card from Petal Garden Memories & More pack: 3″ x 4″

So, a few things about this card…

I am in love with the new Garden Trellis embossing folderUm, wow does that make a beautiful background!! Tip: When you are taping an embossed piece like this, use a heavy duty tape like Fast Fuse so that your card will stay stuck together.

How pretty is that main image?!? All I did was stamp the “Wishing you a day…” greeting on one of the cards from the Petal Garden card pack. Does it get any easier than that? Not much.

So that pretty much sums up this card. Beautiful. Easy.

My favorite kind!

Oh and just because they say that the colors that go with this card pack are Calypso Coral, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry and Sweet Sugarplum doesn’t mean that you can’t use other colors with them too. I think the Fresh Fig goes marvelously!

Did this card inspire you? Good. Go make something.

P.S. These are the same size as Project Life cards so if you have some of those you can make them into cards too.

Happy Stamping!
