In this video, I’m going to show you two ways that you can emboss a larger piece of card stock with a mini embossing folder:
How to Emboss a Larger Piece of Paper with a Mini Embossing Folder:
- First, while the mini folders were created to work with the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, you’ll need a full-size machine to emboss a larger piece of card stock.
- How you do this is going to depend on the design of your embossing folder. If the folder design is easy to match up (like stripes) then you can even emboss a full card front! Run it through once, move the folder, run it through again.
- Some designs, like the pine bough folder I used for the card above, are a little bit harder because the edges don’t line up perfectly. My solution was to cover the seam with a strip of patterned paper! Watch the video above to see how I embossed my larger piece of card stock with this folder.
I hope these tips gave you new ideas on how to use your mini embossing folders.
Happy Stamping!
