This fun Nested Circle Die Technique was inspired by Andrew Granick (@andygranick on Instagram).

His fun rainbow rectangles are gorgeous, but you know me, I like to keep things simple.

So I decided to do something colorful, yet easy.

All you need to do is cut layering circles in all sizes, in a variety of colors, then mix and match to create fun cards like these…

Bermuda Bay card base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
Bermuda Bay embossed: 3-3/4″ x 5″
Basic Black: 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″

Fun, right?

And did I mention it’s EASY!!!

Here’s the how-to…

In this video you’ll get tips for

  • Using Nested or Layering Shape Dies like the Stitched Shapes Dies from Stampin’ Up! for the Nested Circle Die Technique
  • Gluing the circles to your card
  • How to use embossing folders with the Sizzix Big Shot to create fun backgrounds
  • How to get a good cut with your detailed dies
  • and more!

I hope the fun colors on this birthday card inspire you to make a card and send it to a friend!

Happy Stamping!
