You may not have the time or money to make and mail Christmas cards to everyone you know, but ONE handmade card sent to the right person could make a HUGE difference in their holiday season and life. Be the encouragement they need!

Here are two super easy Christmas card ideas using patterned paper. Pick one and make it today!

The patterned paper I used to make these cards is back in stock, but you can use ANY patterned paper to make cards just like these. (For Christmas or ANY occasion!)

Both cards start with 3″ x 4″ pieces of patterned paper so if you want to make more cards you can make 12 cards out of ONE 12×12 piece of pretty paper!

Watch my Quick Cards from 12×12 Paper video for tips on cutting your patterned paper and for MORE card layouts using 3″ x 4″ pieces.

Paper Sizes:
Brightly Gleaming Paper: 3″ x 4″
Night of Navy: 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″
Pretty Peacock card base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
Very Vanilla insert: 4″ x 5-1/4″

Here’s a fun little trick I used on the card above: Cut a punched out label in half and tape one half behind each end of your greeting label to add a border behind.

That plus using Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach it to your card really gives your greeting some extra POP!

Paper Sizes:
Brightly Gleaming Paper: 3″ x 4″
Pretty Peacock: 1/4″ x 4″
Night of Navy card base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
Very Vanilla insert: 4″ x 5-1/4″

For the card above, I added just a little strip of card stock as a border at the top of my patterned paper. This is a great way to use all those little paper scraps that you can’t bear to throw away!

Grab a piece of pretty paper and make a card using one of these layouts. Then send it to a friend and MAKE THEIR DAY!!

Happy Stamping!
