Wondering how to make Shaker cards? They are one of those great types of cards that look like you spent a lot of time and money on them when really they are pretty easy to put together. All you really need is a window sheet (otherwise known as acetate), some confetti, glitter or anything of that sort to add the shake, and some kind of foam tape.

The cards shown here were made using the December 2014 Paper Pumpkin Kit from Stampin’ Up! I’m pretty sure this is my favorite kit yet! The colors, the sequins, the shaker fun… I digress. Even though I used a kit you don’t need a kit to make shaker cards.

Watch this episode of Ink It Up with Jessica TV to see how you can make your own shaker cards. After you watch the show, go make a shaker card! Honestly, you gotta use what you learn right away or you’ll forget. And then you’ll have to watch the video again later when you could spend that time making another shaker card instead.

We’d love to see the shaker cards that you make! Share a photo with our Ink It Up with Jessica Taylor Facebook community so we can “ooohhhh” and “aaaahhhh” over your creations.
