Sometimes you just need a really quick and easy card. Okay usually I just need a really quick and easy card. My stamping time these days is very limited and I usually need a card quick. Can you relate?
When I saw the So Very Much stamp set I knew this was going to be my new favorite “Thank You” stamp. (FYI this is a Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-Bration stamp set so you can’t buy it but you can get it as your free gift with a $50 order through March 31st.) It’s just so big and lovely!
Calypso Coral card base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ score at 4-1/4″
Whisper White: 3-1/4″ x 4″
Gray Polka Dot Paper: 3″ x 4″
This is one of those cards that I designed based on what I had. I needed to make 100 thank you cards and wanted to use paper that I already had on hand. That’s why I chose Calypso Coral but you could make this card in any color!
If you’re newer to card making or just want to use what you have, here’s a tip for you: If you see a card you like, look at the layout. You may not have the stamps or other supplies used on the card but you can take the idea of the layout and use what you have to make something similar.
That’s why I include measurements. Underneath the card photo you’ll see a list of measurements. Those are there to help you out!! They take the guesswork out of cutting your card stock. Swap out different colors and patterns as you like.
Speaking of patterns, the polka dot paper was cut using my Quick One Sheet Wonder Template to make as many cards as possible out of a 12″ x 12″ piece of paper. If you’re hoarding stacks of pretty paper watch this episode of Ink It Up with Jessica TV to find out how to turn them into cards quick.
Now it’s your turn! Go make a card using this card layout. I can’t wait to see what you make.
