When I first started stamping about 20 years ago there was this amazing thing called the Kaleidacolor Pad. They came in a variety of fun color combinations and I was smitten.

Fast forward to 2018 and Stampin’ Up! just made the fun Kaleidacolor rainbow ink pads even better by offering them UNINKED – a blank canvas – so that you can add any colors of ink you’d like to make an ombre or rainbow pad of your choice.

Ready to give it a try? All you need to do is get an Uninked Spectrum Pad, select 5 colors of ink, then use the ink refills to add ink to the 5 individual ink pads.

Watch this video to see how to ink a Spectrum pad. It’s easy!

Be sure to watch all the way to the end of the video where I give you tips and show you different ways to ink up your stamps with a Spectum pad.

The hardest part is deciding what colors to add!

For my first Spectrum pad I went with my favorite color – BLUE – and decided to make an ombre ink pad. I used the Stampin’ Up! colors Pool Party, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Pacific Point and Blueberry Bushel.
