When I first started stamping, all the words on my cards were stamped at an angle. Why? I could never get them perfectly straight, so I stamped them on an angle so it looked purposeful instead of like a mistake.
Then I was introduced to the Stamp-a-ma-jig. The what? The Stamp-a-ma-jig. It has a funny name, but it is my favorite stamping tool ever.
Watch the Video below to see how it works.
The Stamp-a-ma-jig is no longer available from Stampin’ Up! but if you do a Google search I’m sure you can find one somewhere.

The Stamp-A-Ma-Jig is one of my top 5 tools that I CANNOT live without!!! Even with my clear mount stamps I still use it! It is a MUST HAVE for ANY stamper!!
I agree Molly!
Thank you for the stamp-a-ma-jig video, what a great tool!
I also love your 12 weeks of Christmas cards.
Thanks again,
Debbie
You helped answer a question I’ve had about which side to stamp on the clear sheet…my instructions said the smooth side goes up, but, all of a sudden, I noticed at a recent craft retreat that my stamp image didn’t go on the smooth side well (it kind of bubbled up and the ink was separating)…I discovered my friend had always used the rougher side to stamp on, so I tried that, and it worked better. Good to know either side will work, though I definitely see how the rougher side on the bottom might be helpful to hold it in place. Don’t really know why my stamped image wasn’t working right that day on the clear side, though. Thanks for the tutorial!
When I got my Stamp-a-ma-jig from Stampin’ Up, the instructions that came with it say – “Use the textured side of the Imaging Sheet for Craft pads and the smoother side for Classic pads.”…so that’s the difference in the two sides. I LOVE my Stamp-a-ma-jig…I’d be lost without it!!!
I can’t get the video to play. ugghh
There’s no video attached to watch? ? I was trying to see the Stamp-a-ma-jig video
