Cards Made with the Newest Designer Series Papers from Stampin’ Up!

If you know me at all, you know that the most surprising part of this card is the fussy cutting. My favorite part of this card is how circles radiate out with the new Dotted Circles 3D embossing folder. Grab your favorite color and make a monochromatic card like this. Monochromatic means you use one main color + neutrals. Learn more at:

There’s nothing like new colors to freshen up your creativity and bring new life to your current stamps! Five cheerful colors that can be used on their own or mixed and matched to create beautiful cards your friends and family will love to receive. You can use the Basic White Circle: 2-1/8″ cut with a Stylish Shapes die.  Learn more at:

I’ve made several cards with this basic layout and no circles, but the patterned papers I used were beautiful and colorful on their own. The circles from the Stylish Shapes dies not only cut the circles, but they also add a fun decorative stitching around the edges! Learn more at:

These cards started with a 3″x3″ piece of patterned paper. That’s a size I use often because you can get 4 pieces out of a 6×6 sheet or 16 pieces out of a 12×12 sheet. Sometimes I use those pieces to make a bunch of the same cards and sometimes I mix it up and make all different cards.  You can use Melon Mambo: 4″ x 5-1/4″ embossed with Zinnias embossing folder and banner cut with Stylish Shapes dieLearn more at:×3-cards-circle-sayings-stamp/

The Countryside Corners dies quickly cut the corners off of your patterned papers to make pieces that are fun to mix and match on a card front.  For these 3 cards, I used papers from the Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper Pack. Try this card layout with all kinds of different patterned papers! Learn more at

One of my favorite ways to make cards with 12×12 patterned paper is to cut a piece into 3″x4″ pieces to make twelve cards. It’s the easiest one sheet wonder around! Both of these cards, for different occasions, use the same layout and different sheets of paper from Stampin’ Up!’Delightful Floral 12″ X 12″ Designer Series Paper. You can also use the banner cut with Stylish Shapes dies. Learn more at:

Looking for a quick and easy way to color in your stamped images? Try watercolor pencils! Stamp your image with a permanent ink like Jet Black Stazon because it won’t smear. You can use the Brights Designer Series Paper Pack as well as the blender pen to go over one color at a time and blend out the pencil lines a bit. Learn more at:

Thinking of you cards are some of my favorites to send because they are never “late” and everyone likes to know you were just randomly thinking about them! You can use the Brights Designer Series Paper Pack and the Circle Sayings stamp set that can be mixed and matched in many different ways. Learn more at:
