Thinking of you cards are some of my favorites to send because they are never “late” and everyone likes to know you were just randomly thinking about them!

Night of Navy card base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
Patterned paper: 1-1/2″ x 4″
Basic White Circle: 2-3/8″ Circle Punch

Card Making Tips:

  • You’ll find tips for embossing the full front of your card base here.
  • Run your bone folder along the edges of your patterned paper strip to rough it up and give it a little extra texture. There’s a how-to video here if you’re not sure how to do that. You can also use your bone folder to curl up the edges of your flower to give it more dimension.
  • Use grid paper behind your circle to help you line up the second “thinking of you” image stamped straight across from the first.
  • I forgot to add it to the supply list, but the splatter stamped behind the flower is actually a flower from the Inked & Tiled stamp set – it looked boring on its own so I added the punched-out flower on top!
  • Everything is taped together with Stampin’ Seal, except I put dimensionals behind the white circle to pop it up.
  • Finally, add some embellishments on either side of the circle to finish it off.

When I helped design the Circle Sayings stamp set I knew I wanted to make it as versatile as possible. The stamps in the stamp set can be mixed and matched in many different ways, AND you can pair the stamps with so many other stamp sets and dies!

I’ve been having lots of fun seeing what will fit in these “thinking of you” circles.

Azure Afternoon card base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″

Basic White Circle: 2-3/8″ Circle Punch

Card Making Tips:

  • This card layout will work great with your double-sided patterned papers! Start with a 4″ x 6″ piece of patterned paper and cut a 3/4″ strip off the bottom. Flip it over and tape it across the 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece. You can make one card like this from a 6×6 piece of patterned paper or 6 cards like this with a 12×12 piece!
  • Use grid paper behind your circle to help you line up the second “thinking of you” image stamped straight across from the first.
  • Pop your circle up with dimensionals for a little… dimension. 🙂
  • Cut a heart from card stock and pop it in the middle.

If you have the Circle Sayings stamp set I’d love to know what YOU discover fits perfectly in a “thinking of you” circle! Let me know what you come up with.

Happy Stamping!
