Snow and downhill skiing are pretty much a given when you have winter in Wisconsin so I thought I’d share two Winter Fun Fold Cards with you today.

Fun fold cards ALWAYS impress and these two basic z-fold cards are easy to make.

Here’s how the first fun fold card looks when it’s closed…

and then it opens up like this…

Paper Measurements:
Misty Moonlight card base: 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″
Snowflake paper: 3″ x 4″
Whisper White: 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ plus a 4″ wide piece for the snow hill and a 3″ x 4″ inside

I didn’t add any kind of greeting yet, but when I know who I’m going to send the card to I’ll add a greeting inside that fits the occasion.

Watch this video to see how I made this card from start to finish!

The basics for this fun fold card are so easy that you don’t even have to do the scoring if you don’t want to!

Just fold your card in half, then fold the front back so the edge meets the fold of the card.

There are also numerous ways to use this fun fold card base.

How cute is it that the seal peeks through the circle window in the fun fold card front?!!

Here’s how it looks when you open it up… there’s a secret greeting on the inside that you can see through the front circle!

Paper Measurements:
Misty Moonlight card base: 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″
Highland Heather: 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″
Circle Size: 1-3/4″
Whisper White inside: 2-1/2″ x 4″

Of all the fun fold cards you could make, this basic z-fold is a great place to start.

Grab a piece of paper and give this easy fun fold card layout a try.
